The Irish terrier

The Irish Terrier from their humble beginnings as the Irish Farmers workmate to the horrors in the trenches of World War I and their near extinction to our companions of today, this is a breed of dog that will instantly capture your heart and their lifelong adoration.

A breed that thinks every child is a leprechaun and greets every day as a new adventure. From the coal black nose to the tip of their red tail they personify playfulness, but to look an Irish Terrier in the eye is to experience the depth of their devotion.

As a companion and playmate there is no better. "Come play with me for I am the god of joy and laughter your troubles will be lessened, watch me and you will happy again." As a confidante they offer the sanctity of the confessional.

The Irish Terrier is not for everyone but those who are lucky enough to have one in their life have experienced true friendship, devotion and laughter.
